The
family firm was founded in 1945 by Alfonso Cammarota on the market with
the aim of safeguarding the genuine local products and traditions of
Cilento. In
the early 90's Le Case Coloniche specializes in the production of extra
virgin olive oil from olives Salella Ieccino and Frantoio, gets an
annual production average approximately 7 thousand liters then packaged
in 25 cl and 50 cl, 3 and 5 liters, and covered by the marks: Verdi Colli, a blend of oils, and Santa Sofia, monovaritale of Salella.
The
company, subject to the control Bioagricert, a body that certifies
organic production, offers a variety of services designed to bring
visitors to the world of rural and local products. In
addition to tours through the 19 acres on which the company expands,
courses are here for oil tasters and workshops to local gastronomy
Cilento.
The
short chain, from producer to consumer, is guaranteed by the company
store, from participation in fairs and markets and organic food and
beverage service which provides for the exclusive use of their
productions.
